Recently, clients from Portugal visited the OUCO factory to inspect two 5-ton 15-meter knuckle boom offshore cranes. After a rigorous series of tests, both customized cranes successfully passed inspection. They are now ready for shipment to Portugal to support offshore cargo operations.
On-Site Inspection: Focus on Quality
The Portuguese team conducted a thorough and professional inspection. They checked every core indicator, including structural stability, mechanical movement, and assembly precision.
Our technical team accompanied the client throughout the process, explaining the product design and craftsmanship in detail to ensure the client had a complete understanding of the cranes’ quality.
Customized for European Standards
These two cranes were verified to meet the specific needs of the client’s offshore operations. Two key features make them perfectly suited for the European market:
DIN Type Swivel Hooks
Unlike traditional hooks, we equipped these cranes with European DIN-standard swivel hooks. They allow for unrestricted 360-degree rotation, are lighter, and offer higher strength. This design helps the crane avoid obstacles in narrow offshore spaces, making operations safer and more efficient.
316 Stainless Steel Piping
To withstand the high humidity and salt spray of the offshore environment, all hard pipes and interfaces are made of 316 stainless steel. This provides excellent corrosion resistance, extends the machine’s lifespan, and significantly reduces future maintenance costs.

Certified Reliability
Both cranes have successfully passed Bureau Veritas (BV) testing and certification, confirming their safety and quality meet international standards.
The successful inspection by the client reinforces our partnership. OUCO remains committed to providing high-quality, customized lifting solutions for our global customers.
