At the end of July, OUCO’s 0.5T5M Small Knuckle Boom Crane will be packaged and shipped to Taiwan. Due to customer requirements for CCS certification, the lead time for this particular crane is longer than our standard models. In this update, we’ll provide a brief overview of the CCS certification process.
To begin, the project team for OUCO’s 0.5T5M Telescopic Small Knuckle Boom Crane must gather extensive information, including production drawings, electrical schematic diagrams, and hydraulic diagrams for the 0.5T5M model.
Next, our team will organize the production instructions for each component and coordinate with suppliers to obtain the necessary information. Although this process can be time-consuming, it is crucial for ensuring top-notch product quality and expediting the CCS certification process.
Finally, we will submit all collected information to the local CCS agency and schedule an on-site testing appointment with CCS representatives. This thorough process demonstrates our commitment to delivering high-quality, certified products to our valued customers.
We carried the following tests:
- 0.5T5M no-load test
- 0.5T5M safe working load test
- 0.5T5M overload test (5M load 0.625T, 125%)
- 0.5T5M overload test (2M load 2.5T, 125%)
If you’re eager to put your product into service quickly, we can ship the crane immediately and send the CCS certificate separately once it’s completed. Alternatively, you can choose to wait for the product to be shipped with the certificate included.
For larger cranes, we typically opt for FCL(Full Container Load) Shipping, eliminating the need for wooden cases or machine wrap film. This approach helps prevent rust caused by exposure to wind and rain during transportation.
However, for smaller cranes like the 0.5T5M Small Knuckle Boom Crane, customers may prefer LCL(Less than Container Load) shipping.
In this case, it’s essential to discuss various aspects with us, such as the need for wooden packaging, the height of the wooden box, and whether LCL shipping is possible after boxing.
For instance, we don’t package small cranes in wooden cases; instead, we attach iron brackets at the bottom for easy loading and unloading.
