On March 15th, 2022, OUCO shipped their 1.5T8M folding and telescopic boom marine crane to the Philippines, where the customer has since received the product and expressed their satisfaction.
Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, our team provided detailed manuals, documents, and online videos to guide the customer through the installation process. The crane has been successfully installed on the deck and is now in service.
Let us introduce you to this marine crane and the process of our project cooperation.
Our customer, a ship management company based in Canada, discovered OUCO’s product information on our official website in January 2022.
They contacted our manager Nancy by phone and requested a 1.5T8M folding and telescopic crane to be used in the Philippines, along with specific requirements such as CCS classification society certification, an independent custom ship crane operating table, and a soft start for the electrical component.

Nancy responded to the demand by reaching out to the engineer at OUCO factory who then designed and completed the CAD drawing for a custom marine crane. The design was sent to the customer for confirmation and they were pleased with the work.
The details were further confirmed and modified until everything was finalized. Manager Nancy then provided a complete quotation. After the Spring Festival holiday in February, the customer paid for the order and the entire communication process was smooth.
OUCO’s 1.5T8M marine folding and telescopic boom crane is a popular choice among customers due to its space-saving compact design. This model is always in stock at the OUCO factory.
Upon receiving the customer’s order, OUCO promptly customized the electrical component (soft start) of the boat crane based on our existing stock and added extra-long hydraulic hoses to meet the customer’s specifications.
The crane body to operator console distance was bridged by 3.5M hoses, while 4.5M hoses were used from the HPU to the operator’s console.
The entire crane was coated with a 300μm white topcoat, using Jotun paint, which not only adds to the aesthetic appeal but also ensures quality in harsh marine environments.
Once all the custom parts were ready, we assembled and commissioned the crane. The customer’s third-party institutions visited our factory, and the crane’s load capacity was inspected by a CCS surveyor.
The marine crane is shipped as a whole set, with English electrical and hydraulic schematic diagrams, operator’s desk drawing, and instruction manual.
