Ship Hydraulic Knuckle Boom Marine Deck Crane CCS Approved

OUCO certifications

Knuckle boom cranes are designed to lift heavy loads with the jib extended, providing operators with exceptional flexibility during lifting operations. They are commonly used for pipe and boat handling.

Thanks to their outstanding radius flexibility, our knuckle boom cranes make loading and unloading vessels and handling various materials both easy and safe. The enhanced level of control makes these cranes ideal for offshore lifting operations in higher sea states.

Introduction

OUCO-0.99T10M-KB Marine Crane resembles a standard crane, but the boom articulates at the “knuckle” near the middle, allowing it to fold back like a finger. This design provides a compact size for storage and maneuvering.

The crane is operated from an open platform above the slewing ring, allowing one motion at a time (hoisting, slewing, or luffing) with a full load. Each hydraulic circuit is equipped with devices to limit hydraulic pressure to preset values corresponding with crane capacity.

The crane features an automatic hook stop at the top position and includes an overload safety device. The luffing cylinder is designed for safe buffering in extreme positions. Key components of the knuckle boom marine crane include the pedestal, slewing ring, column, operation platform, winch, boom, pulley, wire rope, and hook.
