Foldable Water Bags
This is the most common type, these bags look like an inverted parachute, with a foldable design.
When empty, their volume is just 2% of the full load, making them highly convenient for storage and transportation.

Static Load Test

Overload Test
In this test, the water bag is filled slightly beyond the crane’s rated lifting capacity (typically 110%-125% of the SWL). It tests the crane’s ability to handle loads beyond its rated limit, ensuring it can safely manage overload conditions.
Range Test
Specific to telescopic boom cranes, this test examines the crane’s ability to lift the test water bag at its maximum arm length or when changing the arm angle, ensuring functionality at extended ranges.
Calibration of Moment Indicator

After the test, simply open the ball valve to drain the water bag by gravity. Then, remove the load cell and shackle. Remember, it is crucial to know the exact weight of the water bag each time, as this information is essential for accurate recording and analysis.

Avoid dragging the bag on the ground, or rolling or walking over it, as this can lead to cuts, punctures, or damage to the bag’s outer shell.
For optimal performance, always use fresh water to fill the load bags. (Note: Freshwater weighs about 8.34 lbs per gallon, while saltwater weighs slightly more at 8.4 lbs per gallon.)
Never exceed the maximum rated capacity of the water bag, as overfilling can cause it to rupture, posing a safety hazard.
After use, store the bag flat to prevent creasing. Based on our experience, it’s best to roll up the bag for storage rather than fold it.
