OUCO recently completed the successful on-site installation of a custom 3T40M telescope boom offshore crane for a UAE client. Designed for Offshore Service Vessels (OSVs), the crane will support platform lifting and underwater hoisting operations.
Our On-site Support
To ensure smooth installation, OUCO’s professional team traveled to the site, overseeing the entire process from delivery to commissioning.
Based on the OUCO standard 3T40M model, this crane was tailored to meet the customer’s complex operational requirements and is ABS-certified. It has been structurally reinforced to withstand common sea state 3 conditions in UAE waters.
We’ve also put it through rigorous water bag load test to ensure safe, make it stable operation in harsh marine environments.
The crane delivers excellent performance in underwater hoisting. When fully extended, it offers:
- 35m hook height at a 40m boom length
- 27T lifting capacity at a 10.5m radius
- 18T at 12m and 2T at 30m for underwater tasks

Another Local Project
OUCO also provided installation support for another 1T30M telescopic crane that we had delivered locally, which gave us a deeper understanding of the local installation requirements.
This crane is mounted on an offshore supply vessel, operated by a local branch of an Indian Oil Service Company. It is primarily used for replenishment, supply, anchor handling and towing support of offshore oil platforms.
This crane is also been certified by the ABS to ensure compliance with relevant standards. The design operating temperature for this crane is set at 0°C. In terms of Safe Working Load (SWL), it can handle a load of 1 tonne at a radius of 30 metres and 2.5 tonnes at a radius of 15 metres.
Over two weeks, our installation team worked closely with the customer—conducting precise site measurements, refining the installation plan, and meticulously executing each step to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Thanks to their efforts, both cranes have now been installed and are ready for operation.
