OUCO recently completed the delivery of an OUCO-5T15M-SB Crane to a customer in Singapore. Stiff boom cranes, such as this one, are typically installed on ship decks and various offshore installations, specifically designed for offshore services, personnel transfer, and general cargo handling.
In response to the customer’s specifications, the 5T15M stiff boom crane was manufactured to meet API 2C standards, including a man-riding function. The entire production process, from manufacturing to installation and commissioning at our docks, took approximately 2.5 months.
Due to the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic, the customer was unable to conduct an on-site inspection. However, following thorough communication, the client performed an online video inspection and conveyed their great satisfaction with the crane.
Following the customer’s acceptance and CCS load test inspection, OUCO disassembled the crane for repainting. The packaging team then carefully packaged the entire machine into two parts, with the boom stabilized by a steel bracket and the column, cylinder, operating platform, and other components securely fixed together.
Due to its extra-long and extra-wide dimensions, the 5T15M crane could only be loaded onto ocean bulk carriers for transportation.
The crane has since been successfully deployed at the customer’s site, and three months later, the customer provided on-site photos showing the crane lifting a personnel basket.
The customer expressed that the crane is simple to operate, exhibits good stability, and delivers high working efficiency under various conditions, effectively reducing their operational costs.
